A relationship that will not last shows its bad signs from the beginning. Unfortunately, many people get blinded by "love" so much that they don't see the hand writing on the wall.
The pain of marrying a wrong partner is worst than the pains of waiting for long. It is better to wait long and find the right partner than to marry wrong in a hurry.
Not every single man or woman you meet is suitable to be your husband or wife. Some are only good as Classmates, Clients, Customers, Business Partners, Church Members and just a friend. When you don't understand this, you pay dearly for it.
Sometimes what is good for one man may not be good for another man. That's because we are all different people, each one with his or her own unique peculiarities and differences.
You don't need to leave your relationship at the mercy of chance and you don't need an Angel from heaven to tell you whether your relationship is going to work or needs to be terminated.
God gave you eyes to see and brain to think, analyze and reason things out. Don't be in a relationship with your heart and leave your brain in your maternal home. The Bible says we should watch and pray. So your eyes should be widely open before marriage. Now that you are Single, you need to shine your eyes in every relationship you are into and not be carried away by the euphoria of love. Then after you are married, you can close your eyes and overlook the mistakes and errors of your spouse for peace to reign .
Do you have doubt about your boyfriend or girlfriend? Do you have a second thought or questions whether you are in the right relationship or wrong one?
I want to share with you the red flags or bad signs of a relationship or marriage that will not work. Once you see one or more of these signs in your partner please call it a quit. Don't jeopardize your future by hoping that the man or lady will change after the marriage. There is no guarantee for such hope. Besides, you cannot change anybody, only God can. How to know a relationship will not last?
1. A partner who hates the things of God.
Anyone who does not love God will never love you. Whatever love song he or she may be singing in front of you is a fake love. God first! If your partner truly loves God, there are chances that he or she will truly love you. That is why the bible warns us not to marry an unbeliever. 2Cor 6:14 says
"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?".

Any man or woman who hates the things of God is a potential bomb for Marriage. Before you claim he or she loves you, please check their love for God. Does he or she love going to church? Don't tell me he is a nice person but he doesn't go to church. If he doesn't go to church, wait until he starts going to church and be rooted there. Check their attitude to prayer. If the guy hates prayer, you will be in literal hell if you get married to such a person when you are a praying Christian. Does he/she love the word of God? If they value earthly things more than spiritual things, just know that your spiritual life will be dead and buried as soon you get married to such a person.
2. A partner who does not respect his or her parents.
Anyone who insults, abuses and dishonours his or her parents in front of you is likely to abuse, insult and dishonour you when you get married. Never neglect this bad sign when you see it in your relationship. In the light of the Scriptures, a man or woman who doesn't honour his or her parents is not good for you. If he talks to his father like his mate, you can imagine how he will talk to you when he marries you. If that lady treats her mother like a menstrual rag, that's exactly how she will treat you when she enters your house. Charity begins from home. Don't neglect this important issue. Be very careful to observe your boyfriend or girlfriend when he/she is talking to his or her parents. Anyone who doesn't respect or honour their parents has signed up for premature death. So If you don't want to become an early widow or widower, better let the rude and disrespectful person go out of your life. Doing so will save you a lot of headache tomorrow. If he/she respects you but dishonours his or her parents, your name is sorry. God has vowed that it will never be well for anyone who disrespects or dishonours his or her father and mother. Please take note.
3. A partner who habitually tell lies.
Every liar is a child of the devil. When you see your partner tell a big lie before you and pretend as if nothing is wrong, don't take it for granted. It is a warning sign of a wrong partner. A liar in courtship cannot suddenly become a truthful person in Marriage. Please watch the lying tongue. It is a mark of a wrong partner and a potential bad marriage. One thing you can never cope with as a child of God is a lying Spirit. If he tells you that he is in the front of your gate whereas he is in his bedroom with another woman, just know you have met another devil in a human form. Please save your time and leave the damed relationship. If she uses lies to get money from you then you have met another Judas Iscariot in wearing a woman body. Please save yourself from headache, call it a quit. Don't tell me he/she will change tomorrow. You are on your own. Judas never changed even though he was one of the disciples of Christ. If Christ didn't change Judas Iscariot, there are people you cannot change, period!
4. A partner who presses you for sex before marriage.
This kind of person is only interested in having you on the bed, the chances are he or she will not be committed in serious things when you get married. Let him/her go! One thing about a womanizer is that one woman is not enough for him. Except you are prepared to fight with different women because of your husband. If you don't have that kind of strength, please save yourself from headache tomorrow, let it go. A man who can't control his erection should not control your direction. If he can't keep his manhood in one place until the right time, your womanhood is in trouble if you marry him. Please Watch it.
5. A partner who always demands for money or other things from you without showing commitment to your vision or business.
This kind of person is a fraudster in disguise and a liability. This type is good at cooking stories to get money from you. If money is all that he/she is after let them go! You are not father Christmas. Besides, everybody has his or her own needs too.
Guy listen to me, a woman who doesn't really love you, will love your money. If her eyes are only on your pocket, please leave. A woman who is after your money doesn't care about love or commitment. If she takes money out of your pocket and doesn't put it back, she is a liability, let her go. A woman who truly loves you will care more about your welfare, what you are doing and and how she can be of help to your business than your money. Please watch it.
6. A partner whose mouth is a razor.
Even the Bible says it is better to live on top of the roof of your house than to share the same room with a nagging or troublesome woman or man. Let them go!
7. An unfaithful partner.
A guy or lady who cheats on you and keep romantic relationship with another person is a double - dealer. Such person can never make a happy home no matter how good you are. You will be pouring your precious water into a basket. Let him/her go!
8. A stubborn or arrogant partner.
This kind of person will prefer to die than to say, '' I am sorry ''. This kind of person is Mr/Miss know all. This partner will never see anything wrong in what he /she says or does. This partner is disobedient, rude, unteachable and never takes correction.
9. Where You don't have the Witness of the Holy Spirit
A relationship that is not approved by God will never work. For except the Lord builds the house, they Labour in vain that build it. If it is not the will of God, no matter what you do, the centre cannot hold. How do you know the will of God? That's why we have the Holy Spirit living and dwelling in us. The marriage that is not approved by God will never have the witness of the Spirit. The Spirit of God will warn you about it. If you don't have inner conviction in your spirit, please let it go. Don't push yourself else you blame yourself tomorrow. If God says no, please be humble and obedient to the voice of God.
10. When you don't have Peace of Mind in the relationship.
Lack of peace is a red flag and a warning sign that you are into a wrong relationship. If you can't find peace in your heart, life and in the relationship, please leave. Lack of peace means you are heading the wrong way. One sign that God is involved in your relationship is peace. Lack of peace will break you into pieces. God's authentic voice of approval for your relationship and marriage is peace. Psalm 85:8 says,
CONCLUSION
prevention is better than cure. A wise one sees danger coming and runs for his dear life, only the fool keeps going and gets punished for it. A broken engagement is better than divorce. You will not make mistake in your marriage. Receive grace to escape every trap and pit of the enemy in your relationship and marriage in Jesus name, Amen. God bless you
