They claim they can stay in their house and worship God. I'm not saying you cannot stay in your house and worship God. But if you want to build a strong and robust faith in God, you have to obey God's instruction in Hebrew 10:25. There's an atmosphere of faith that comes in cooperate worship. There's a degree of anointing and spiritual fire that is made available when believers gather together in one place to worship. Psalms 122:1-3 explains it very well. It is there that God commands His blessings, even life evermore. Spiritual weakness sets in when we begin to stay away from fellowship with other believers. We go from strength to strength when we come together as believers in worship. Like Iron, we sharpen one another. Hallelujah! 

Hebrews 10:25 (NIV)

"Not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."

4. Trust in God's Plan

Faith involves surrendering to the divine plan, even when circumstances seem uncertain or challenging. Remember that God's ways are higher than ours, and trusting in His plan will strengthen your faith in His wisdom.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV) says, 

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

I usually say this to God, "Lord forever you will be my God. Even if you don't answer my prayer, I will still serve you." Why do I say this? That's because no matter what God has not done for me today, there are many things He did for me in the past that I should appreciate Him for. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NIV) says, 

"Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."

6. Embrace Challenges as Opportunities for Growth

Difficulties and trials are opportunities for spiritual growth and refinement. Embrace them with faith, knowing that God is with you, guiding you through every challenge. Have the mindset of Christ who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross and eventually took His seat at the right hand of authority of the father in heaven. You can smash that problem with a victorious faith. You are more than a conqueror. You are a winner and not a loser. Hold unto your faith and you will surely pull through.

James 1:2-4 (NIV) says, 

"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."

7. Practice Compassion and Love

Extend love and compassion to others, as God has shown His love to you. Acts of kindness not only strengthen your faith but also create a positive impact on the world around you. Love is the greatest force in the universe. Every genuine lover is a perpetual winner in the life of faith. One sure way to keep your faith strong is to continue to walk in love everyone regardless of their behaviour and attitude of hate towards you. When your love life is strong, your faith life will reflect it. Faith works by love. How to strengthen your faith in God is to increase your love for God. A burning love for God is the secret of a great and ever strong faith in God. Anywhere your love for God ends, that's where your faith level stops. You can't believe above your love tank. Love is a twin sister of faith. Show me your love for God and I will show you how strong or weak your faith will be. When your faith is not growing, please check the depth of your love for God.  Ephesians 4:32 (NIV) says, 

"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."

8. Maintain Hope and Patience

Faith involves believing in things unseen and maintaining hope in God's promises. Cultivate patience, knowing that God's timing is perfect. Hebrews 11:1 (NIV) says,

"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." You can't lose hope and still keep your faith in God. To keep your faith on fire, you must keep hope alive. A living dog is better than a dead lion. To him that is joined to the God of all the living, there's hope. There's no hopeless situation in God.

 Colossians 3:2 (NIV) says, 

"Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things." One of the enemies of faith is a broken focus. When one's focus in God is broken, his faith will suffer a great loss. It is focus that empowers our walk of faith. Distractions can weaken one's faith and invariably knock one out of the path of faith. If you want to strengthen your faith in God, remain focused in your walk with God. Don't let anyone or anything distract you. 

10. Overcome Doubt with Faith

One of the ways to strengthen your faith in God is to overcome doubt with faith. Doubts are a natural part of the human experience, but they can hinder the growth of your faith if left unchecked. When doubts arise, confront them with unwavering faith in God's promises and His unchanging character. The Bible says,

"Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them." Mark 11:23 (NIV)

11. Forgive and Let Go

"For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins."

12. Be Open to God's Guidance

God communicates with us in various ways, including through prayer, the Scriptures, and our inner intuition. Be open and attentive to His guidance, and trust in His divine wisdom to lead you on the right path. Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV) says, 

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

It takes humility to accept correction when you are being rebuked. And someone who is above correction cannot grow beyond his parent level in the school of faith. James 4:10 (NIV) says,

"Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up."

15. Remember God's Faithfulness

Reflect on the times when God has answered your prayers, intervened in your life, and provided for your needs. Reminding yourself of God's faithfulness will strengthen your trust in His ongoing care.

 Lamentations 3:22-23 (NIV) says, 

"Because of the Lord's great love, we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."

16. Develop an Attitude of Surrender

Surrendering to God involves relinquishing control and accepting His will for your life. Let go of the desire to control outcomes and trust that God's plan is perfect. Romans 12:1-2 (NIV) says,

"Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing, and perfect will."

Serving God and others in need is an expression of your love for God and your fellow human beings. Engaging in acts of service strengthens your faith by living out the teachings of Jesus. Seeth thou a man diligent in his business, he will stand before kings. He will not stand before ordinary people. So when you stand in faith is a function of your dedication to kingdom Service. The limit of your commitment to promoting the advancement of the Kingdom of God on the earth determines the boundaries of your faith. "You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love."

Because the things of God can only be understood by those who have the wisdom of God. Pray for wisdom and discernment in your decision-making and daily challenges. God promises to grant wisdom to those who seek it with a sincere heart. James 1:5 (NIV) says, 

"If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you."

You can speak your faith to the top. You can talk your way to victory. Let the weak say I am strong. When men say there's a casting down, you shall say there's a lifting up. Don't speak based on your situations but speak according to your revelation and convictions of the scriptures. If you keep speaking the word to yourself and to your situations, your faith will be strengthened beyond your expectations. The Bible says, "That the communication of thy  faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of  every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus". Philemon 1:6 KJV

25. Seek Guidance from Mentors or Spiritual Leaders

No one is too busy for a retreat or conference. Everyone of us has 24 hours per day. So the problem is not lack of time, it's lack of value for spiritual things. When a man like Moses needed a burning bush encounter with the Lord, he left his father in-law's sheep behind the foot of the mount Sinai and turned his face towards God. Until we are ready to put this world behind us and face God in personal retreats and conferences, we are not ready for a leap of faith. 

 Psalm 119:15 (NIV) says, 

"I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways."

29. Celebrate Your Spiritual Growth
