How to Rule in the Midst of Your Enemies

Anchor Scripture: Psalms 110:1-3

Life in general is not a bed of roses. There's nothing like a trouble-free zone in life. As our faces are different so are our troubles and challenges. While your own problem may be school fees or how to pay your house rent, the other man is facing a terrible health challenge that no one else knows. One of the best things that can happen to you as a child of God is to have this understanding that no matter how difficult your situation may be, you can surmount all your troubles and emerge victoriously in the journey of life.

Are you facing some kind of problem in your business, job, career, education, ministry, health, finance or spiritual life? This post is written just for you. In this post, I want to show you how to rule and walk in dominion in the presence of your enemies. Are you ready for this?

"The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand,  until I make thine enemies thy footstool. The Lord  shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou  in the midst of thine enemies. Thy people  shall be  willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of  holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the  dew of thy youth." Psalms 110:1-3

1. Learn to Sit Down with Jesus

One of the greatest secrets of victory is the spiritual art of sitting down with the word of God to learn from the master. Some of us find it difficult to sit down at a place. We are always busy moving around from place to place. We are quick to jump at any opportunity that presents itself. For some people, the only time you can find them sitting down is when they are eating or watching their favorite movies. They can't sit down for one hour to read their Bible. They can't sit down for thirty minutes to read a Christian book or anointed article. Then they are wondering why their spiritual battle is taking ages to end.

Hear what God said, " Sit Down at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool".  You may cry, "Lord I have been sitting down here since morning". It doesn't matter how long you have been sitting, the instruction says sit down with Jesus until your victory comes.

Prayer is powerful, fasting is awesome, I love the Pentecostal tongue-quake but there's a time to sit still before the Lord to study, listen and discover the deep secrets that make for dominion in the area of your need.

Watch this,

"For the Egyptians shall help in vain, and  to no purpose: therefore have I cried concerning this,  Their strength is to sit still." Isaiah 30:7

Did you see that? There's strength in sitting still before the Lord. You sit down with your Bible and other Christian books in the area you need victory and read them line upon line until you find the divine precept that will intercept your agony and bring a lasting solution to your problem. Stop running from one herbalist to another. Sit down with the Scriptures and you will find out that the Egyptians will help in vain.

2. Stay Focused and Rooted in Zion

The moment one becomes a born again, he doesn't have any heritage again in the world. The moment you become born again, the devil doesn't have anything good for you. You can't belong to the kingdom of light and expect your needs to be met by the kingdom of darkness. It's not possible. You need to understand this truth, your strength can only come from Zion. If you want to rule in the midst of your enemies, you must stay focused and rooted in Christ. You must remove your eyes and trust from man and every other place and put your trust in God. All of your help will only come from God. And except God helps you, no one else can help you. Except the Lord shows you mercy, all your efforts will amount to nothing. Everyone who will walk in dominion in the presence of his enemies must be a man or woman who is completely sold out to God. No short cuts. No alternative. Jesus Christ or nothing else.

3. You must Have Power with God.

Every true lasting victory is a product of supernatural power encounter. Until power comes down from heaven, destiny remains at the mercy of the devil and his agents. You need power with God to command power with people. Grammar is not synonymous to power. Thank God for planning and strategy but no business succeeds with only good planning and strategy. Every successful business that has become the people's choice is running on the wings of supernatural powers. Don't let anyone deceive you, success is spiritual. There are some people commanding the marketplace, if you see the sacrifices they do to activate some spiritual powers that sustain their business, it will blow your mind. In the day of your power, your people shall be willing. Lack of power will result in lack of people. Anywhere power is, it doesn't matter if it genuine or fake people will naturally be attracted to it. In every one born of a woman, there is a craze for the supernatural. That's why magicians attract people without public address system. We need the power of God to impact people. We need the power of God to enjoy the good will of the people.

4. Walk in Holiness and righteousness

Friends, the foundation of God cannot be changed. God cannot lower His standard to accommodate anyone's weakness. God knows those who are His and everyone who mentions the name of Christ MUST depart from all iniquity. Departure from iniquity is what closes the door of calamity. Until a man is determined to depart from iniquity, his struggles continues. Holiness is the mother of wellness. Righteousness is what begets divine providence. When sin goes, your true colour will show forth. No one enjoys the dew of his youth living in iniquity. Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach. Therefore, come out from among them. Touch no unclean thing you that bear the vessels of the Lord and your heavenly father will take over your battles and give you victory. Nothing sponsors dominion like holiness. Are you tired of being in the devil's captivity, walk in purity. Make holy living a delightsome habit and the rest will become a testimony upon testimony. Let us pray.
